So despite of my incessant attempts of keeping my French up to level, it’s true that I felt that recently I feel my French slowly slipping away as I’m trapped as a busy computer science student in the English-speaking Waterloo for another month before returning back to Montreal.
Fortunately my caring bf has agreed to teach me a word everyday to help with this endeavor, which I would like to share with everyone. Hopefully it’ll help me to better remember it (:

Canicule (nf)
(=chaleur) scorching heat
(=vague de chaleur) heat wave
